I provide individual therapy for adolescents (16+) and adults with eating disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD and depression. I also frequently work with people wanting to address body image concerns, life transitions and relationship issues. Additionally, I offer Family-Based Treatment (FBT) for adolescents (12+) and young adults with eating disorders and parent guidance for parents whose child is already receiving treatment for an eating disorder and are looking for additional support.

Throughout my career, I have been interested in the comorbidity (co-occurrence) of psychological symptoms. For example, people often experience both an eating disorder and anxiety, or anxiety and depression. My treatment approach focuses on common factors that underlie many symptoms in order to best address everything you are experiencing. Within this framework, we will develop an individualized treatment plan that best meets your specific concerns and treatment goals.

Insurance and PRACTICE INFORMATION

I do not currently accept insurance in my private practice and I am not part of any networks. Your insurance company may offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network services. I am happy to provide you with a superbill to provide to your insurance company to apply for reimbursement for your out-of-pocket expenses. Please contact me for more specific information about my fees.

During your first appointment, I will provide you with additional information about my practice, billing policies, and availability during business hours and in case of emergency.

I am currently offering appointments both in person and via telehealth.

good faith estimate

Under the law, health care providers are now required to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
